MISC Freelancer MAX ship overview

The Freelancer MAX is a heavy transport variant of the Freelancer developed by Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern. Compared to a stock Freelancer, the Freelancer MAX features a greatly enlarged main hold that nearly doubles the ship's cargo capacity. This makes it ideal for moving heavy equipment, vehicles, or raw materials.

Key features

• Cargo: Designed as a dedicated hauler, the enlarged internal cargo bay of the MAX can accommodate up to 120SCU of cargo. This also allows the MAX to accommodate medium-sized ground vehicles such as the RSI Ursa Rover
• Crew Accommodation: While the Max can be flown solo, it can accommodate up to four people. Each crewmate enjoys their own bed in the crew area, along with a shared kitchenette and bathroom
• Weapons: With a pair of pilot-controlled turrets on the side of the ship, each capable of carrying a pair of Size 3 guns, a rear manned turret which can hold a pair of Size 2 guns, and racks that can carry four Size 3 and four Size 2 missiles, the Freelancer MAX can hit back hard if attacked
• Thrusters: In order to offset the increased cargo load, the MAX has four main thrusters versus the base Freelancer's two. Consequently, the MAX consumes more fuel and is perhaps less nimble than its sibling. To compensate for this, it offers a larger hydrogen fuel capacity
